Nikky gets to the heart of the matter. Her skills of observation and her inbuilt honesty enable her to cut through the stuff that stops change happening. A skilled storyteller, her original way with words provides perspectives that enable things to get started! Her background in dance, film and tv provide Nikky with the ability to communicate in fresh and different ways and mean drive, energy and movement are always transmitted to those around her.

As Artistic Director of her own physical theatre company for sixteen years, Nikky toured the UK, Europe and the Middle East – whilst also finding time to perform in other prestigious productions, for the likes of The Cholmondeleys, Adventures in Motion Pictures and Jean Paul Goude (famous for his work with Grace Jones).
Nikky was then snapped up by Ragdoll Productions to play Laa Laa in the now legendary Teletubbies. This led to over a decade in children’s broadcast television; producing, directing, choreographing, performing, writing and devising as well as handling some pretty large budgets, marketing, merchandising as well as a very large costume!
In parallel, she has worked as a project manager and live event co-ordinator in the UK and USA, including Boohbah at Toys R Us, Times Square, and has mentored for the RSC, Creative Partnerships, London Zoo, Creative Enterprise and Sonia Sabri for the Place Prize.
Throughout everything there has been an educational strand, with Nikky teaching in Paris, Switzerland, Belgium and Austria as well as at home in the UK. Her experience covers vocational dance and theatre training; infant, primary and secondary schools; special needs settings; inset delivery; creative curriculum development and consultancy for senior management teams.
Over recent years Nikky has been working more regularly internationally – primarily giving trainings and conference presentations, for which she is enjoying an ever growing reputation. She continues to work as a children’s storyteller as well as consulting for companies developing product or services for children and young people.
Nikky has two Digital Dance Awards, a Bonnie Bird New Choreography Award, and is a BAFTA nominee. She holds a post graduate certificate in Advanced Educational Practice and is a qualified Pilates instructor.
